By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Oktagn is a fitness application that lets you take part in workout challenges, log training sessions, and track your progress and streaks over time. The data controller responsible for your information is Oktagn, contactable at admin@octagn.in.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health and fitness data for advertising.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you signed up for), consent (for health and fitness details you choose to provide, which you may withdraw at any time), legitimate interests (to keep the Service secure and improve it), and legal obligation where required by law.
We share your information only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only to the extent needed to do so. These providers are bound by contract to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or a valid governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Oktagn or our users.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can update most profile and fitness details directly in the app.
To request deletion of your Oktagn account and all associated data, email admin@octagn.in from the address linked to your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
To exercise any other right, contact us at admin@octagn.in. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), token-based authentication, and access controls that limit who can reach your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at admin@octagn.in and we will delete it.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.
